Prix du jeune chercheur de la SCEM
Une subvention de 20 000 $ à l’appui du programme de recherche du boursier et un certificat sont accordés à une personne qui est membre du corps professoral d’une université canadienne depuis 5 à 10 ans (pas nécessairement de façon continue, mais dans tel cas, il faut l’expliquer) et qui a fait preuve d’excellence en tant que chercheur indépendant en sciences liées à l’endocrinologie. Doit être un membre en règle de la SCEM.

Processus de demande :
Remplissez le formulaire de soumission en ligne de 2025 et soumettez les documents à l’appui :
- Lettre de mise en candidature expliquant comment le candidat a fait preuve d’excellence en tant que chercheur et l’importance du programme de recherche qu’il poursuit
- CV du candidat (CV complet ou CV de type IRSC)
Date limite : 30 avril 2025. Aucune demande tardive ne sera prise en considération.
Exigences en matière de rapports
- Le lauréat est tenu de soumettre un rapport à la SCEM dans les 2 ans suivant la réception de la bourse.
- La SCEM doit être reconnue dans toutes les publications et communications scientifiques qui découlent de ce prix.
- Le lauréat peut être invité à faire une présentation à la conférence professionnelle annuelle de Diabète Canada et de la SCEM.

Bourse de recherche Dr Fernand Labrie
Cette subvention sera accordée à un médecin boursier de recherche qui poursuit une formation supplémentaire en recherche dans le domaine de l’endocrinologie et du métabolisme. Il s’agit d’une bourse d’études unique d’un montant maximal de 30 000 $ pour un boursier. Veuillez noter que cette bourse est conçue comme une bourse salariale et peut être combinée à d’autres sources pour constituer un salaire. Le candidat doit être un membre en règle de la SCEM.

2024 Lauréats de la bourse de recherche Dr. Fernand Labrie
Eligibility criteria:
- the applicant must:
- be an MD research fellow in Endocrinology & Metabolism who, at the time of receiving the award, has completed two years of a Royal College–recognized Pediatric or Adult Endocrinology and Metabolism training program
- be pursuing additional research training in the field of Endocrinology and Metabolism
- priority will be given to Canadians or permanent residents
- the research project must be done in an accredited Canadian institution (all Canadian institutes/hospitals with University-accredited programs are eligible)
Application procedure: Complete the 2025 online application form and submit supporting documents to the CSEM:
- letter of intention from fellow, including career plans
- CVs of fellow AND supervisor (complete CV or CIHR-type CV)
- one-page summary of proposed research project
- letter of recommendation by someone other than the direct supervisor (previous research mentor or training director)
Deadline: April 30, 2025. No late applications will be considered.
Notification of winner: The winner will be informed by the end of June 2025.
Reporting requirements:
- summary of the project that was/is performed and location of the fellowship
- outcome of the project: completion, meaningful results, publications, and communications related to project
- all scientific publications and communications during the period of the fellowship (one or 2 years), related or not to project
