This position is within a general outpatient endocrine practice, in a shared office with 3 other adult endocrinologists. The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, at Western University, is inviting applications for the position of Diabetes Canada Chair in Diabetes Management. The successful candidate will be a recognized leader of Diabetes Care. They will develop and test new models of health care across a mix of populations with various subtypes of Diabetes Mellitus. The successful candidate will be appointed in the Clinical Department that most appropriately fits their expertise with a potential cross appointment in a relevant basic science department. The Moncton Hospital, a facility within Horizon Health Network, is recruiting an Endocrinologist or Internal Medicine Specialist with equivalent expertise and practice. Services include an active diabetes clinic with three full time nurses including a certified insulin pump instructor, two full time dietitians, a part time social worker and a part time pharmacist. University of British Columbia (Pediatrics)

The UBC Department of Pediatrics and BC Children's Hospital are seeking a Pediatric Endocrinologist. The successful applicant must be eligible to obtain a specialist’s license to practice medicine in British Columbia as well as Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Pediatrics and Fellowship training in Endocrinology and Metabolism (or equivalents). We welcome applications from candidates who are early career (recently graduated from fellowship training) and have had a third year of training dedicated to scholarly activity (i.e., research, education). We especially welcome candidates who are mid-career (3 to 5 years working as a pediatric endocrinologist) and are interested in advancing their leadership skills in medical operations and quality improvement. A Master’s Degree or equivalent post-graduate training is considered an asset. The proposed position will have a clinical component that includes outpatient clinics in endocrinology, including gender, and diabetes, in-patient service and call, and outreach/virtual care. They will also be expected to participate in administrative/leadership, research/quality improvement (including opportunities to lead clinical trials), or other scholarly activity that align with the vision and priorities of the Division of Endocrinology and Department of Pediatrics. The successful applicant will participate in educational activities including academic rounds, fellow/resident teaching, and research supervision of trainees. They may also participate in provincial educational and care coordination activities aimed at growing capacity for high quality equitable pediatric endocrinology and diabetes care close to home.

Associate Clinic Endocrinology (Calgary)

Associate Clinic Endocrinology is seeking a locum adult endocrinologist beginning approximately July 1, 2023, until January 1, 2024 (dates flexible). The position is within a general endocrine practice, in a shared office with 5 other experienced adult endocrinologists. It is a highly collegial group practice. The office is located in downtown Calgary and uses a clinic wide EMR. The successful applicant has the option of participating in diabetes in pregnancy clinics, should this be an area of interest to them, as the permanent members of our clinic have University of Calgary appointments and associated privileges.
