Young Investigator Award(sponsored by Merck Frosst Canada from 2003–2009)
Awarded to an individual who has been a faculty member at a Canadian university for less than 10 years (not necessarily continuous) and has demonstrated excellence as an independent investigator. The award includes a grant in support of the awardee's research program, and the awardee presents a lecture describing her/his research at the CSEM Annual Meeting.
