Survey on Perioperative Steroid use

Our colleagues from McGill University and Dalhousie University are conducting a national survey of Canadian endocrinologists, internists and anesthiologists on their experience and opinion regarding the administration of corticosteroids prior to noncardiac surgery, to reduce the incidence of adrenal insufficiency. The researchers wish to develop recommendations for the perioperative management of patients exposed to corticosteroids. To make these recommendations relevant and useful for the practicing Canadian internist, endocrinologist, and anesthesiologist, they are requesting your input. The survey should take less then 10 minutes to complete. This project has been approved by the McGill University Health Center Institutional Review Board.
